- NURS 115 – Nurs Prac for Mental Health (3)
- Prerequisites: NURS 110, NURS 111, NURS 112, NURS 113, and NURS 114 with a minimum grade of C+. Corequisites: NURS 116 and NURS 117. Practical Nursing for Mental Health builds on the safe nursing care learned in the courses of the first two semesters applied to care of patients with mental health needs. Basic mental health nursing theory is applied to the care of patients with specific mental health diagnoses. Application of mental health theory, therapeutic communication, and clinical judgment are the focus of care applied in the clinical setting
