- Prerequisite or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 101. Ethics focuses on the philosophical study of the moral and immoral, good and bad, right and wrong and the field of knowledge that has developed from this study. This course introduces students to the history and methods of ethics by focusing on ethical theories like utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics, and care ethics, and core ethical concepts like autonomy, justice, and personhood.
