- NURS 112 – Clinical Judgement Prac Nurse (1)
- Prerequisites: ENGL 101 or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 101, NURS 110, and NURS 111 with a minimum grade of C+. Corequisites: NURS 113 and NURS 114. Clinical Judgment for the Practical Nurse teaches the components of clinical judgment set in an organized framework of five steps and 23 clinical judgment competencies. The focus of the approach to teaching clinical judgment includes the actual thinking that supports the nursing process and the NCSBN’s Clinical Judgment Measurement Model. Once learned in this course, the clinical judgment framework is used in all nursing courses across the curriculum as students apply the nursing content taught in each course.
