PSY 222 – Research Methods in Psychology (3)
Prerequisite: PSY 101. This course is an introduction to the logic and methods used in psychological research. More specifically, this course will provide a supervised experience in the application of such research methods as surveys, simple experiments and more complex multi-variable experiments. Students will explore the development of research questions, the selection of the appropriate methodological approach in psychological research, and the interpretation of data and results. This course will also focus on exposing students to library research in psychology and the writing of research reports that adhere to Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA).
